The Green Horizon Complex, located in a coastal area, faced challenges due to the aggressive marine environment leading to accelerated corrosion of concrete reinforcements. Traditional protective measures were proving inadequate, necessitating a more robust solution to ensure the longevity and safety of the infrastructure.

Solutions

Protector Technology provided a comprehensive Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system, designed to mitigate corrosion by applying a small, continuous electrical charge to the concrete, counteracting the corrosive effects of chloride ions and moisture.

Key components of the solution included:

• Anode Systems: Integrated into the concrete to deliver the protective current.
• Monitoring Equipment: Real-time data collection to assess the effectiveness of the protection and detect any anomalies.
• Control Units: Automated systems to regulate the current and ensure optimal performance.

Implementation
